Avesta
Optimizing checkout logic and price comparison algorithms for a poultry marketplace.
00
problem
Poultry prices fluctuate daily, making it difficult for buyers to find fair deals. Furthermore, the existing checkout process was fragmented, leading to high cart abandonment rates, while sellers struggled with manual inventory tracking.
solution
I designed a Price Sorting Algorithm interface that allows users to filter products by real-time lowest price. To solve the churn rate, I streamlined the checkout flow using AvestaPay for instant transactions and created a simplified inventory dashboard for non-technical sellers.
Designing for conversion and market transparency.
In building Avesta, the challenge wasn't just selling products; it was solving the information asymmetry in the poultry market. Buyers needed transparency. I designed a logic-driven search interface that allows users to sort commodities by price fluctuation (Lowest/Highest) in real-time, empowering them to make data-backed purchasing decisions.
Technical constraints often kill conversion. I analyzed the user journey and identified that multiple payment steps were causing drop-offs. I redesigned the flow to integrate AvestaPay, reducing the steps from cart to confirmation. This minimizes friction and ensures the engineering logic behind the payment gateway translates into a seamless UI.
For the supply side, I focused on accessibility. The sellers are often non-technical users. I stripped down the inventory management interface to its core essentials—stock updates and price changes—ensuring the system is robust enough for business but simple enough for daily adoption.
